where bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. Home-cooking with
local hand-picked ingredients is served and special diets are catered for.
We will book you a table for dinner
in one of the wide range of restaurants and pubs in Bala (1/2-mile)
or nearby. You can walk into Bala and one restaurant offers a free
return taxi service.

| Abercelyn Country House is a Grade-II
listed, Georgian, former rectory which has been restored with
modern comforts while retaining its period features, such as
marble fireplaces, sash windows with shutters, window seats
and Georgian hall and stairs.
The Country House and Cottages are set
in landscaped gardens over looking Lake Bala and within
walking distance of the town. There is a mountain stream
flowing through the garden. Visit Wales (formerly the Wales Tourist Board)

Breakfast and dinner will be served in the dining room,
which has views of the garden and mountain stream. Home
cooking is our speciality with home-grown and local
products. For breakfast there is freshly squeezed orange
juice, freshly baked-bread and home-made preserves as well
as a choice of cooked main dish, including "The Works". |

The bed-rooms of Abercelyn
Country House have individual, period, furniture and all are
en-suite with luxury bathrooms. All have power-showers and one
has a whirlpool bath. |

Abercelyn Cottages are located in the grounds
of Abercelyn Country House. Originally the "Poor
House" and "Tithe Barn" but now fully modernised to provide
modern comforts while retaining their original construction including stone walls and
wooden beams with stone or wood floors. Featuring en-suite bathrooms
with whirlpool baths, full central heating comfortable
lounge areas with TV, HiFi etc. Visit Wales
