Multi-activity holidays

If you want a multi-activity holiday or something tailor-made, e.g. private group, contact us to discuss. We aim to be flexible and will try to accommodate your requirements. A multi-activity week could consist of a different activity each day from the following list.

  • Walking, scrambling or rock-climbing
  • Watersports: white-water rafting, canoeing, sailing (dinghy or boardsailing)
  • Biking: mountain biking or quiet roads/dedicated tracks
  • Off-road driving (4x4), quad trekking, go-karts
  • Fishing and hunting
  • Pony trekking and carriage driving

These multi-activity weekends are ideal for corporate entertainment.

White-water rafting on the Tryweryn

The basic price for the accommodation, transport and organiser is the same as the walking holidays, in addition, there will be charges for selected activities.

The minimum holiday period is 3-days and minimum group size is 4.

Canoeing

Canoeing experience and coaching is available either using closed-cockpit kayaks or open canoes.
Being located in North Wales gives unrivalled access to lakes, estuaries, rivers and managed white-water sites, e.g.:
  • Lake Bala with magnificent mountain scenery
  • Mile End Mill (Llangollen) managed site for Class II white-water
  • Canolfan Tryweryn (National White-water centre) for Class II-III white-water
  • River Tryweryn for Class II-IV white-water
Ray Hind has 40-years canoeing experience and is a qualified BCU Level-3 coach. His canoeing experience includes representing GB at international canoe slalom and extensive alpine experience (Austria, Switzerland, France, Germany, Italy). Competition experience includes both slalom and white-water racing in all classes, i.e. kayak-single, canadian-single and canadian-double. In addition he has experience of sea-kayaking including circumnavigation of the Isle-of-Wight, Bristol Channel  crossing and Pembrokeshire coast.
